Mother’s Day 2010

Cara decided that she wanted to go to one of the Oklahoma casinos with one of her friends as her Mother’s Day present, so she got her gift the Monday before.  So the actual Mother’s Day was very low key. We went to church that morning and then met my parents and brother for brunch.

Zoooooo!!!

A couple weekends ago we took a family trip to the zoo with some of our new friends we met in the neighborhood.  They have a precious little girl who is about 7 months older than Liam (they will actually be in the same grade when they start school, yay!!!) so we thought it would be fun to get them both out to the zoo so they could see all the animals.  As you could imagine, Liam was far less interested in the animals, but I did get him to actually look at some of the fish in the aquarium. I am already looking forward to taking back when he is a little older and actually cares about the different animals.

Playground!!

Last month, we finally got around to taking Liam to the park. Our neighborhood has a really nice park about a half mile from the house so one Saturday morning we grabbed Liam and walked over. He had a lot of fun swinging and going down the slides (though I probably had more fun!!). Since then we have taken him back numerous times. We are going to have so much fun there this summer!!
